ASAP, the earlier you get the FAFSA application complete and submitted then the more aid and types of aid you can receive. |

Am I a failure for quitting on I've been accepted to UCLA and
I was planning on going and
moving really far away from
everything I've ever known and
my support system. I didn't
research my decision
beforehand and when I went
down to LA I didn't like it at
all. Now, I want to just go to
a local university but it was
too late to enroll for fall
semester. I feel like I set
myself up for failure because
I didn't think this through.
Now I am disappointed because
my life is on hold for 4
months until the next semester
and all my friends are moving
on.

YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE. Many students at schools like NYU and such are community college transfer students. Try to work hard, get great grades, and if you want to switch to a more presigious university, then you will surely have the option to. It's not about where you go to college, it's what you do there. I got into a prestigious university, but know that if I don't work hard, it'll mean nothing. Much less than someone who works hard at a non prestigious university. Cheer up. You've got your life ahead of you. |

I am a university student.How I am a university student.How
can I go to the US without
money support?
I have heard that US consulate
asks to have much money. And if
you don't you can not get
visa.They ask you for a
support from a US resident or
your bank account billing.
But I have no much money. Is
there any solution for me?

But - if you have no money, and nobody in the US to sponsor you - how are you going to support yourself? You will need to pay rent, food, etc., etc. just to name a few basics. Suppose you can always marry a rich American .. :) |

I am an international student Basically, I really don't know
where to go. I am passionate
about politics but I don't
know which university to go
to. And does the ranking and
the reputation of the
university really matter when
it comes to studying politics
?

Auckland University. Best Uni in NZ. If you can't go for whatever reason go to Otago which is in Dunedin. Auckland University ranks quite well in the world too (top 50) while the others are in the 100's. I don't know what degree you're supposed to take but if I were you it would 1. Auckland 2. Otago 3. Go to another country btw, the first 2 options are pretty much the same to many undergraduates who are planning to study in NZ |

Am I cut out for going to I'd like to be an
obstetrician. I have an
overall grade of 85%, but my
science marks are not great at
a 74%. Do you think I will
succeed going to university
for this type of work?
Also another question, will I
be required to take physics
and chemistry courses in my
junior and senior years of
high school? Right now I am
only planning on taking
biology.
about the physics and chem
thing, i!know I don't need to
take them to graduate but is
it required to be an
obstetrician?

I think you should do fine. You are not required to take physics and chemistry in your junior or senior years. Thanks Bill |
